Danny Harding has been presented with an Achievement Award from South East Derbyshire College
On Friday 7th March 2003 one of our former students was presented with an "achievement award" for his hard work and commitment to his Performing Arts Course.

Danny Harding who was at DCDP for 4 years passed his First year on "Kick Start Course" (1998) at Wilmorton (as it was then. He then moved to South East Derbyshire College and enrolled on BTEC 1st Diploma in Performing Arts then went onto advanced AVCE/GNVQ year 1/2. He completed with an overall Merit (2002).

He is now at LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) which Sir Paul McCartney setup. Unfortunately Danny was involved in a Dance Performance which Granada TV and was filming on Friday so he couldn't attend the presentation himself. Tony Winstanley, his Senior Tutor received the award for him.

This is a great example of DCDP at its best with every level of support working to help a student achieve. Everyone who has been involved with Danny should pleased with this achivement. Well done to Danny and we wish him all the best in his future career.

The presentation was held at the Regency Rooms in Ilkeston.
